Sheboygan County has over 1,380 miles of roads, including Interstate 43, which bisects the county and makes travel north and south to/from Chicago and Milwaukee and to/from Green Bay effortless.

Passenger Service
Passenger rail service is currently unavailable in Sheboygan County. However, Amtrak service is accessible in Milwaukee, complemented by a shuttle service that connects Sheboygan County to the Milwaukee Amtrak station.

Primarily serving as a hub for recreational activities, the City of Sheboygan Marina also hosts a handful of commercial operations, with the most notable being the salmon charter fishing fleets. While the Marina may not be suited for logistics-based commercial activities due to the size limitation of vessels (the largest sloop being 50 feet), it remains an inviting location for businesses. Sheboygan County Memorial International Airport (SBM).
SBM is classified as a Transport/Corporate (T/C) airport and can serve aircraft weighing as much as 60,000 pounds with wing spans less than 80 feet in length. The primary runway is concrete and is nearly 6,800 feet in length and 100 feet in width. The second runway is asphalt and is nearly 5,000 feet in length and 75 feet in width. This secondary runway was rehabilitated and enhanced in Spring of 2010. SBM also hosts a US Customs facility for General Aviation International Arrivals and Departures of 20 or less passengers.
The SBM facility is capable of handling precision instrument approach operations. Lake Breeze Aviation is the fixed-based operator (FBO) at the airport. This FBO provides fuel, car rentals, pilot training, aircraft repair, aircraft sales, a pilots’ room, and many other services.
There are over 130 aircraft based at the airport and approximately 66,000 aircraft operations at the airport each year. The SBM ranks as the tenth busiest airport in Wisconsin. Sheboygan County has upgraded a site in the northwest portion of the airport for future business development at the airport. Commercial, industrial and personal sites are available for hangers or businesses to locate at SBM.
