Start Up Ecosystem

By using regional assets Sheboygan County provides incubation, acceleration, and support to start-up entrepreneurs.

We are continuously trying to improve the assets in the start-up ecosystem in Sheboygan County and the SCEDC established an Innovation Council to assist with planning and direction of the ecosystem.

Revolving Loan Fund

Revolving Loan Funds (RLF) are designed to create increased access to capital and a low-cost alternative financing option for small businesses and start-ups in the county. The RLF programs include interest rates and loan maturities that are designed to encourage business development, private investment, and job creation in Sheboygan County.

Sheboygan County communities with Revolving Loan Funds:

  • Sheboygan County
  • City of Sheboygan
  • City of Plymouth
  • City of Sheboygan Falls

Sheboygan County RLF programs have varying guidelines, eligibility requirements, and terms and conditions.

Please call the SCEDC at (920) 452-2479 to discuss your project or email SCEDC Director TJ Crowns or SCEDC Business Counselor Ray York. If your project qualifies for any of Sheboygan County’s Revolving Loan Funds, the SCEDC will guide you through the next steps and the application process.
