Our Mission

The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation, a public-private partnership, identifies and facilities innovative efforts to fuel growth for businesses, communities, and entrepreneurs while fostering vibrant neighborhoods for citizens of Sheboygan County.

Strategic Direction 24 - 26

The SCEDC is focused on addressing barriers to growth and pivoting our operations to address efforts vital to growing the economy of Sheboygan County.  In November 2023, the SCEDC held a strategic direction planning session with its Board of Directors to develop new strategies to address identified challenges.  

Based on that planning session, the SCEDC Executive Committee met in December of 2023 to discuss the findings and to refine new strategies that the economic development corporation would undertake. 

1. Population Growth
2. Talent Development, Recruitment, and Retention 
3. Development of Single Family Homes
4. Innovation and Small Business Formation

With these strategic directions set, the corporation then has been focusing on launching and creating new programs to support these strategies.  As you navigate through the site, you will note that our Strategic Direction is found in our actions.
